Holy cow, we finally made it - and what a grand venture this has been! So many new faces, so many new friends, so many questions and answers! I've learned so much about the people that have come here, even before anyone hops onboard the server!

I'm so thankful for the kindness, grace, curiosity, interest and patience you have all granted me. I have wanted to make this roleplay since I was very much a child too young to be on the internet, and to see that it might actually be something - even significant, at that? - it blows my mind without hesitation.

And just the same, I am thankful for everyone that faced the bravery of coming off anon and talking to me in asks and replies! I'm so glad to have some familiar faces in my feed so early - and I'm sure others have come to recognize and respect you too!

Now, with the soft gushy stuff over, I have 3 gifts to present to you!

i. Application Replies!

Some were multiple choice, so I gathered those together to put in review:

The arcs question made me & fiancee smile, because it stayed pretty consistent, with the most people having read TPB and the fewest having read ASC. On the contrary, I was not expecting so many people to have been rping in the kitty scene for over 10 years! I was also surprised at how many inexperienced people we got - and how filled out the middle was! I'm entertained by the near perfect split on wanting staff roles, & how few people chose Leader on the rank question.

Most importantly, I want to point out the question regarding being placed on a list for future loners and kittens. 98.4% is roughly 59 people, dude! We're going to have a robust list of people waiting for such openings, so I won't have to worry about inadequate responses just yet - much to my relief!

Hey hi hello howdy! My name is Elliot, I’m a 26 year old from New England (EDT) with over 10+ years of off and on rping experience and I’ve decided to try to jump back into rping online again. I’m currently banging out a degree in professional writing and boy am I sick to death of writing reading responses, so here I am I guess. I also work a full-time job, so while I like to say I’m active, I’m not always available.

I generally like long-form posts, (at least more than a few paragraphs to multiple paragraphs), written in third person/past tense. No asterisks or one sentence replies, please.

Faceclaims and all that are awesome, but I generally like to avoid already established characters/anime character faceclaims.

I play characters of all genders/orientations, and generally prefer original characters over fandoms. That being said I love fandom-inspired roleplays- TLOU, ATLA, Stranger Things, etc are all wonderful inspiration for plots and characters. Also if I get really into it there’s a 100% chance of a pinterest board, playlist, etc, and I’m looking for partners who would be equally invested or at the very least open to those sorts of things.

I’m looking for a partner who is active (at least post once a day/week), who is communicative (OOC chat is really important to me! If you don’t want to be best friends I get that but at least let me know where the scene’s going, haha). Must be at least 20+ in age, I’d like partners who are in a similar age group to me.

NSFW to be discussed but it’s not a huge factor in my writing and I don’t like plots that revolve around that sort of thing.

A few plots I’ve had in mind lately are:

*A bar in the middle of a big city flaunts a weird policy- anyone who donates blood that night gets free drinks the next night, or free drinks in exchange for donating blood later on in the night.

#1. Your character gets hired as an unassuming busser in the upstairs bar, not really believing in the rumors about the downstairs venue, until one night the boss asks them to cover and they find out first hand.

#2. Your character wakes up after a night of heavy drinking to a random man on their couch. They start to freak out but he laughs and reminds them that they promised to become a regular donor to him the night before at the bar.

#3. A vampire and their vampire hunter enemy meet at the bar one night to have a drink together after they realize that they’re almost on the same side about an ongoing social issue and realize they have much more in common than you’d think.

*A cute bakery in an unassuming city does really well for itself. The baked goods are scrumptious and adorable, and the old man who runs the bakery has a huge garden in the back. He is well liked and known to his community, but the neighbors think he’s a witch. You had a bad day and bought a donut at the bakery after work? You found $50 on the subway on your commute home! Sad about a break up so you bought a cookie the size of your head to eat your feelings? Your inbox is flooded with friends and family who want to support you after the break up! His grandchild has recently moved in to take care of him in his old age, and one day a weird crow starts following them around in the garden. Shenanigans ensue.

Anyway if none of these plots interest you, I promise we can come up with something!

Mobile Rules

I don’t have many rules but they are as follows.

1. I’m open to rping anything pretty much but I like development and some planning. I try to stay away from things like non-con/rape but gore and stuff is fine. I tag my things and use cuts (Read mores) on anything that I feel is not child/work appropriate. Mun is 18+ and experienced as an rper but will under no circumstances rp smut with a minor. Other adults, possibly, depending on the situation.

2. Mun=/=Muse and as such if my muse says or does something that does not mean I feel that way or agree with it. Mun is a shy but nice person generally. Thus why this is roleplaying and all.

3. I do not encourage anon hate, bullying or anything of that nature. I follow a do on to others as you would have done to you rule so I try to be nice and respectful to my rp partners and expect the same.

4. I am semi-selective, I will rp with just about anyone though from most show, game, OC, so long as know your fandom and/or your character. That said, you do need to be a mutual. I no longer rp with none mutuals as I can’t tell who wants to rp with me still and who does not otherwise. Note: I also reserve the right to refuse to rp with someone for any reason, though I will likely let you know if I have a problem and poke you calmly about it.

5. This blog is multiship and multiverse and muse is semi-multiverse aware so he/she isn’t surprised to see alternates.

6. Do not power play, godmode, or meta-game. It’s rude and kills the fun of Rping.

7. I may drop threads, but I will inform you if I do. That said, sometimes I have problems with my tag tracker or I miss something, don’t be afraid to poke me and remind me. I’ll actually be glad you did! On tags, I use them a lot and I always check my tracker so if you want me to see something use Unbridledwrathra tag.

8. I’m not super picky but try to make your writing readable. I will try to match your writing to a point but I personally don’t get fancy with the format. I use third person paragraph unless it’s a POV which are mostly just little drabbles I do rarely. The more you write the more I have to work with for my replies. //Telephones, Telepathy, etc//, Thoughts, “Speaking”, (OOC), is the formula I use when rping.

9. If I follow you I will give a two weeks for a follow back and if you haven’t I will unfollow. It is not personal, I just like to keep my dash clean of those I don’t rp with. In short I will mostly only rp with mutuals past the first two weeks.

10. I have no preferred ships with Skin or his female reincarnation, all ships are interesting and I don’t mind exploring them but as for his main verse he is not shipped with anyone.

11. I don’t follow personals. And please do not reblog my asks or rp posts. You my screencap them and post them on your blog however.

Basics

This blog is semi-selective and semi-private. I will not always write with non-mutuals, but I am open to if I enjoy your muse/muses/writing

I don't mind personal blogs following though I probably won't follow back unless I either know you, you tell me you have a sideblog, or I enjoy the content.

This blog is multiverse, multiship. Each interaction will go into its own world/verse/etc. You may mention my muse in other threads, blogs, but I won't tolerate drama.

I am willing to interact with canon/OC's/other fandoms. 

If your character is an OC/FC related to/knows of my canon muse, they will not know them upon first interaction. I am a bit iffy about accepting pre-established relationships with these characters.

This blog's muses don't really have a setting/world of its own as I enjoy a variety of AU's, verses.

Threads

I am open to a lot of topics/genres. NSFW is possible and loved with the right scenario, setting, chemistry. Sexual content is accepted, but I am selective with smut itself and prefer to know the mun at least a bit (or have interacted before) as I am demisexual/graysexual. This makes writing tricky at times for certain situations.

I tend to match my partner's length. You do not need to match mine, just don't leave me with a one-liner when I reply with like 2-3+ paragraphs.

Plots, memes, whichever is fine. I do however suck at plotting at first, but will brainstorm and throw ideas out.

Always feel free to ask for a starter or use the inbox itself for starters and interactions. 

Replies

Do not hassle me for replies. You can remind me to get to one if it's been a week+. I have limited energy at times, and being hassled just makes coming to any blog unappealing.

If you continue to hassle me over a reply (a nudge is fine) I will put it at the bottom of my to do list, drop it or block you.

I can be selective with my replies. I am not ignoring you if you think I'm not getting to your reply.

I actually want to write with muns who are interested in writing with me. Those I have known longer and have friendships with will probably get preference, otherwise I will draft things immediately be they asks, threads, and work from oldest or what I have enough mental energy/muse for.

I will tend to queue replies as it's easier. Sometimes I will reply quickly.

If I don't reply to something soon, don't spam me with messages. I am not always quick to respond and sometimes get easily distracted, forget, and it can stress me out.

Please be patient with me, I do not always have time to get to everything and life is a thing.

Hello, Reader!

My name is Jay. I’m 22/F (to be 23 in a month!), located in the US (EST). I’m looking for a partner or partners to roleplay some of the plot ideas I have. They cross various fandoms and genres, and I’m totally willing to tweak things to fit both our wants and needs. Most are geared toward the endgame of romance, but some are gen and focused on adventure!

A bit more about me:

I’m a big fantasy and anime nerd! BNHA is my favorite anime and fantasy worlds such as LOTR and ASOIF are usually what I picture when RPing medieval or fantasy content.

My OOC availability is very open currently, and I’ve been running with once a day replies. Though for threads I’m really feeling, I can do more.

My style of writing is 3rd POV, literate. I range from 3-5 paragraphs per post. I use present tense, but I can adjust to past if that’s a problem.

For the most part I’m only interested in playing with and against canon characters. Rarely do I choose to use OCs over canons in fear of self-inserting.

I have a server I use for my 1v1s. We can make a fresh one though if that’s more comfortable.

What I’m looking for in a partner:

An individual who is at least 18 or older. Ideally 20+ like myself.

OOC communication! I love idle chatter, and I especially love exchanging ideas and inspiration.

Inspired by the aesthetic and beginnings of The Hobbit. Option B: Set in a tiny village, Character A is content with their quaint and safe way of living. They then meet Character B, a supernatural or magical creature. Previously believing magical creatures to be myths, this inspires Character A to leave the village.

[Any Fandom] [Any Characters] [Medieval/Fantasy World] [Optional Romance] Option A: Character A is royalty and has run away from home. Character B either purposely sets out after them to return them to the King and Queen for a reward, or meets Character A on their travels not knowing that they’re royalty. Option B: Arranged royal marriage between Character A and Character B. Option C: Arranged royal marriage, only the arrangement is between Character A and Character C. Character B is either not eligible to be wedded to Character A (non-royalty or not in high enough social standing), somehow connected to Character A and C as a neutral party, or more specifically a protector (guard) or friend to Character A or C.

1. This should be obvious but I really love writing. I don’t at all mind having multiple threads with partners of varying scenarios. If you have an idea for a plot you are absolutely allowed to come yell at me about it. That said, I also love writing drabbles and if we interact enough for my muse to get emotionally attached to yours you will absolutely get one as a gift when inspiration hits.

2. Shipping is a complicated thing for me - not in that it’s hard for me to ship but because I both have no issue with rping with the intent to ship but I also don’t want that to be all there is. Neff is pan and someone who has more than likely had some type of crush on all her friends of legal age, but both of us also try not to make it seem like we’re trying to force her feelings on others. If you’re someone who sees my muse and feels like she’d be a lovely romantic partner for yours I’d honestly probably be willing to lead up to that,  as long as it’s not just to get a lay. Will she be horny on main after being in a relationship? Absolutely. But just know when I ship with people I want SUBSTANCE. I want the emotional stuff, I want the backstory, I want the investment. I’m someone who will put effort into ships with my girl and I’d like the same to be given. If we ship I will give you everything from the first time she started having feelings for your muse up to making their kids honestly. Neff is someone who loves and wants to be loved and she will give her everything to your muse so long as they do the same.

3. If we are mutuals I want to rp and interact! Neff loves meeting new people and learning about all sorts of cultures/races/what have you. That said, I understand how easy it is to be shy or nervous or anxious to make the first move. I try my best to find an excuse and make an effort to get some sort of something going with y’all, but I also want you guys to know that I’m honestly open for anything and everything. You wanna write me a random starter? Go for it. Wanna Send in an ask and make a thread from it? I’m fine with it. Wanna plot? Hell yeah. I promise you I am the least intimidating person when I meet someone knew and get just as excited as Neff does to talk with y’all! Just as long as it doesn’t violate my rules or morals anything goes! (I explain most in my rules, though some I feel should be obvious enough for me not to list. Still if you have a question about what I do or don’t do feel free to ask!)

4. Despite me being super excited to rp with you guys I also tend to wait way too long to send reminders for rps honestly. In me not wanting to seem annoying and pushy I usually wait about a week, sometimes even longer, because I know people are busy and it also depends on musing. With this in mind, I have a thread tracker on my blog for those I’ve got an active thread with. Some I’ve archived if it’s been longer than a month when really I should just remind them that the thread exists, but I am a fool whose worst fear is coming off too strong and choose to remain frustratingly passive instead. In terms of my own responses, whenever I have the energy I try to respond to all threads at once in the order they were responded to. Every now and then I break this rule if I have very strong musing for a particular response, but I will still try to respond to the others that day as well. If I don’t make a post acknowledging I have other replies to get to but are done for the day you’re more than welcome to let me know if I missed your reply.

looking for otome-based RP partners!

Hullo (hopefully future) friends! I’ve got a bit of a weird proposal.

(For anyone who saw the first one on my OTHER-OTHER side blog, this is redux, the 2.0, because that sideblog was TOO NEW to show up in tags and I am really hoping that this one shows up on this MUCH OLDER and REPURPOSED sideblog!) 

ANYWAY, here blog isn’t and probably won’t ever be an RP blog. I’ve RPed on Tumblr a lot in the past (mostly in the Homestuck community, a few years back) and while doing so was a lot of fun, it was also a lot of work! Maintaining pages, bios, graphics, etc, is all stuff I seemed to have all the time in the world for a few years back, but I find I really just don’t anymore.

Unfortunately, I don’t really know where to find RP outside of Tumblr and cherubplay (thanks again, Homestuck!) either, but Cherubplay isn’t exactly the greatest for finding anything outside of just raw-doggin-it-smut-fests and while that can be, uh, fun, it’s not really what I want to focus on when I RP.

So why am I here?

I’m hoping to find other people who don’t really have time to run an RP blog (or who do have time, but also might be willing to dip their toes into doing it on Discord, too, assuming you aren’t already!) for some good time plotting and roleplaying!

WHAT WILL WE RP?

I’ve been real keen on otome lately and I’m really looking to play some canon boys to your MC or OC! While I’ve certainly had my fun playing girls before (mostly in WoW, or other MMORPG settings), I find I always prefer to play dudes, and (if you’d pardon this bit of arrogance!) I think I can be pretty dang good at it!

While I do occasionally ship MxM, it’s really only something I do with my best bro, so I’m sorry to disappoint, but I’m really only interested in MxF pairings atm! I hope that’s okay with everyone.

COOL, BUT WHAT SERIES? WHAT CHARACTERS?!

I’d like to say I have a pretty healthy familiarity with a lot of otome, but I’m not sure I’d be the hottest at RPing them all! If it can’t be guessed by my avatar, I’m kind of on a Hakuouki kick right now, so I’m partial to that, for sure, but for ease of readability and so you can get a good idea of what I’m open to, I’ll list them in some nicely formatted order.

Hakuouki Characters

Okita :: Okita is tied for my personal favorite Hakuouki dude with Sannan, but I think I’d enjoy playing him a lot more than Sannan (which isn’t to say I wouldn’t like to play him, too!). I’ve always been partial to smirky, tease-y boys, especially when they’re struggling with confronting their feelings.

Sannan :: Sannan speaks to my love of polite but cold characters, and it’s only a bonus that he’s a megane, which I’ve also always loved! As mentioned above, he’s probably tied with Okita as favorite Hakuouki dude, but I think Okita’d be easier to play.

Kazama :: Kazama is fun because I’ve always had a love for garbage can style kidnap-and-seduce plotlines if that was your kind of thing!

Saito :: I love Saito aesthetically and his personality is pretty rad and I’d rank him as pretty up their on faves, but I admit I don’t have overmuch experience when it comes to awkward slow-to-open-up kinda boys! I’m sure we could make it work though.

Other dudes :: I’d be willing to try honestly most anyone from Hakuouki but these are the ones above are the ones I feel most confident/interested in playing! If you’d like someone else, you can most certainly ask, especially if you have some kind of plotline you’d like to see!

Oh baby, yeah I am totally into this hot hot dumpster fire!

Reiji :: As mentioned, I love megane, and Reiji’s probs my favorite of everyone in the whole dang series. Older? Check. Smart? Check. Responsible? Check. Cold? Double check. Really fucking mean? Check. Smirky? Well, in the games, yes!

Shuu :: Sorry Reiji, but I also love Shuu. I might make him just a twinge OOC because his laziness might make advancing the plot kind of headachey, but other than tht, I love this loser.

Subaru :: Subaru, contrary to his third place on this list, is probably pretty close behind Reiji for favorites. Aggressive, ill-refined, totally willing to fight everyone – I admit I tend to play the more well-spoken and calculating kind of characters more, but I’d be willing to rock Subaru for you to the best of my ability!

Ruki :: I won’t say Ruki’s my favorite of the Mukami brothers but I like him a lot and I think I’d play him well!

Everyone else except Azusa and Kou :: Spoiler: I love Azusa to death and find him adorable but I don’t really relish playing openly masochistic characters, so he’s a no go unless we can work something out! Kou is – no offense, but I just really do not like Kou. As far as the famous Sakamaki triplets go, Kanato is one of my absolute all time favorites, and I’d be willing to play him with the right person… but we all know he’s kind of an absolute nutbag, so I’m hesitant to dump that on anyone! Ayato is a staple and Laito could be… like Kanato, I think I’d have to feel pretty assured by my partner they could handle the grosser parts of his character. Open to exploring it, however!

I’m not gonna bother sectioning everyone into neat little areas cause there is so few, but Toma is my favorite (I’m a real sucker for yandere, whoops). I’d be willing to play him, of course, provided my partner was comfortable with it! I’d also be willing to do Kent (my second favorite!), Shin and maaaaaaybe Ukyo. Sorry, I didn’t really care for Ikki – not because Ikki was bad (he was actually cool!) but because fan girl route characters drive me BANANAS.

Honestly, I’m gonna be real with everyone here: I love roleplaying because it’s like writing fanfiction with someone else, so it’s all the fun and self indulgence of fanfiction, but better, cause ya know – someone else is doing it with you! And I’m really here for the self indulgence, so please go ham.

Yeah, you can play the MC of the game, and I’d be cool with that! But honestly, I love OCs, and I’d love to hear about and plot with your OCs. I have some ideas for potential plots (especially for Hakuouki), but I’m also open to your ideas, too, and I think a lot of plots could work best outside the confines of a pre-established MC. Also, you get to show me your drawings/face-claims/whatever for your characters, and that’s pretty rad!!

Also, as someone had asked when I tried to post this on my previously non-functional blog, I’m also open to crossovers! I’m cool even if I don’t know much about the character -- you’ll just have to pardon my ignorance.

So, uh… RULES? RP STYLE? ETC? SOME POORLY ORGANIZED POINTS

+ Yeah, I’m deffo 21+ so ideally you would be too, especially if there’s anything like, remotely scandalous going on! I’m not too sure I feel very comfortable RPing with anyone younger than 18, mostly just because there’d be such a big age difference between us. Rest assured it isn’t because I think I’m better than you, or being ageist! It’s mostly just for my own sense of comfort!

+ Speaking of scandalous, I don’t push hard for anything super graphic unless that’s your style because I’m very much a person who loves drowning in the emotions of “holy crap does this guy really like this lady a lot”. I tend to be over indulgent as heck when it comes to inner monologues describing just how much your character makes mine’s heart go doki-doki, so expect a lot of that. If we start heading towards fuck-making of the graphic non-fade-to-black-variety, we should deffo discuss the sorts of things you discuss before those scenes! (Kinks? I GUESS???) But, as mentioned, it’s deffo not at all on top of my list of prerogatives. We need to BUILD for that!

+ My RP style tends to be 3rd or 2nd (lmao, Homestuck) person, present tense, a couple paragraphs to “oh my god, you can shut up now”. You can write however you like, with my only request being that you be passably literate! Not like, snootily literate. You get what I mean? I hope so. ):

+ As far as activity goes, I’m also fine with the Tumblr esque style of replying whenever you get around to it! If we both happen to be on for a barrage of replies, great! If we can only get one or two out a day, also great! I’m pretty easy going, honestly.

+ I love working in universe and also going mad with AUs. Find some cute starters or AU ideas on tumblr and you wanna throw them at me? I’m always open. From vampires where there are none to school AUs to coffee shop AUs I am willing to try most things, but note: I am primarily a fan of DRAMATIC ROMANCE so keep that in mind!

“Okita-san?” Her voice rings in his ears like a few plucked notes of some delicate string instrument, and he feels his lips part, his smile all teeth. She’s paused, midway between pouring him a cup of tea, and her eyes – ever and much too familiar – meet his with a hint of shyness Okita feels guilty for relishing. “Are you okay?”

“Worried about me, mn?” He rolls his head from one shoulder to the next, halfway between a shrug and a stretch, and tries very hard to resist the urge to pull her towards him, into him, that he might catch more of the rich perfume that lingers along the line of her throat. “You shouldn’t be.”

You should, he thinks, and not without a hint of guilt, be more worried about yourself.

PSA: Bubble Rping

Hello, lovelies. We are having a major issue with bubble rping and wanted to make a quick post to remind people what that is. 

Bubble Roleplaying is when one character consistently talks to the same few characters and rarely deviates from this small group. This could be a ‘ship’, a select group of close friends, or even just one other person your character really gels with. It’s common in roleplaying as a whole because, hey, our characters might mesh well with other certain personalities, and we might have made some really cool connections with certain characters. And that’s okay! Having those connections, whether they be friends, romantic interests, or exes with drama, help create fun and exciting RP opportunities!

The problem is, we are seeing a LOT of characters only replying to maybe one character and that’s it. Threads are getting dropped or forgotten about. We understand this can happen, but BLBC is supposed to be a roleplay where we can all create unique character connections and foster an open and friendly community. And that means replying to people outside of your friend groups, and replying to people outside of your ship. We all could stand to reach out more to characters we haven’t plotted with before, and we’re all guilty of playing favorites to some degree! If your character only interacts with their romantic interest and that’s it, then you are bubble rping. 

We will be enforcing this as best we can. Our recent activity checks have included people who only talk to one person for 3 days straight, as well as those who have not been online at all. And we will reach out with a private warning if we see this issue in characters. Please remember: we use a list of starters that we reblog all the time and update (since the starter tag doesn’t really work any more). If you ever need help finding plots, want a connection, or just need to brainstorm ways to get your character out there more, let us know! We’re here to help.

Triggers:

-The only triggers I have is Sharks (Realistic Images or video of them) and IV Needles. I just ask that you please tag them. It’s cool if you forget it happens.  Mostly it’s the needle bit that is the worst trigger. I have other trigger they are just very rare and very hard to hit. I’ll let ya know if you ever hit them.

-If you need something tagged just let me know.

-I will tag things if you need it tagged. I’m also an idiot and forget sometimes. Just slap me with a friendly reminder message and I’ll tag it for ya. Shipping / writing:

-I’ll just slide this in here too. I ship chemistry, if I feel the two muses are getting along and you wanna ship them I’m down. I don’t ship with minors. If you wanna have a family bond connection with my muse, smack dat message button and hit me up. I’m down for chatting about it and plotting it out!

-I ship Connor/Hank personally but this doesn’t mean every Hank my muse meets will want to jump their bones. Again I can’t stress enough how I ship chemistry. I won’t ship with anyone right off the bat unless you talk to me ahead of time and want to plot something out.

-If your Hank only sees Connor as a son, I’m totally cool with that too. Again I do not ship anything unless you’ve messaged me before hand. I just like chemistry between muses first.

-I will ship hate pairings, crack pairings, and just because pairings.

-If you want to ship with my Connor, hit me up. Again this is normally after we’ve been rping for a while. I’m for the most part chill about shipping.

-I have my own NTP I’m chill with talking about them. I’m also over all a very chill but weenie of new peeps person. Again I’ve been around a while.

-If you have a ship you wanna try out with my Connor slap that message button and I’m more than happy to chat it out. We can come up with an idea. But again I prefer chemistry first over shipping.

-If you see mistakes in my grammar and spelling I am sorry. I tend to type fast and sometimes aren’t able to catch all my mistakes. Please bare with me on that and I’ll most likely edit my posts. Or more commonly I’ll respond with like little to no sleep in me and don’t realize I messed up spelling or used the wrong words or grammar till like the next day or when I post my reply and reread it. -I can and will rp dark themes. I love rping angst or pretty much anything. That being said, just be aware of my fear of needles. I will rp sharks just because I can’t physically see them. Writing about that doesn’t bother me just anything to do with blood work just … yeah.

-I write rather large posts when I role play. Don’t feel intimidated because you don’t have to match my post size. It’s just my thing I do. I only ask that if I reply with let’s say a paragraph I wish for at least a paragraph back. This doesn’t apply if it’s a crack thread. Those are just up in the air and fun.

-If your muse is an OC, from a different fandom, or if he never met you in the game and your  beginning message/thread/starter is acting like he knows you right from the get go and he doesn’t I might not answer the ask or thread. Just because sometimes it makes me uncomfortable unless it just fits or you have messaged me ahead of time.

-I also love the idea of my Connor viewing any of the Rk series as family. If you don’t see it that way hit me up and I’m chill with it.

-If the post is long or nsfw based I put them under read more.

I am open to RPing with just about anyone.  If we can find a way to make it work, then I’m good with any gender, any fandom, any sexuality, and any faceclaim (real or cartoon).  However, I’m not okay with blogs that RP as living people or as people who’ve recently died.  I feel it’s disrespectful.  You can follow me; I won’t block you or anything, but we won’t be RPing.  I’m generally okay with 'real life’ historical blogs, but will examine them individually before following.

I LOVE crossovers and AUs!  Even when I’m not familiar with the fandom.  :)  Just because I’m clueless about your fandom doesn’t mean we can’t write together.  All I ask is for your patience when dealing with my lack of knowledge.  :)

A firm reminder that OOC =/= IC. My ideals and morals aren’t reflected in the expressions/actions/and thoughts of my muses. If a muse has said or done something IC that makes you upset OOC, then talk to me about it.  I promise to listen and converse with you rationally about whatever’s happened.  I also expect to be treated the same in return.  If I have any reason to believe you’re having trouble finding the line between the two, I’ll come to you to talk about it.  Politely, of course.

In-character drama and angst is something I love and live for!  Out-of-character drama and angst won’t be tolerated.  Life is too short for the petty squabbles of you, your friends, and/or some other random internet stranger.  Posting callouts OF ANY KIND is probably the fastest way to get a soft-block from me.  Asking/demanding I choose sides of ANY KIND will likely result in the same.  Again - been there, done that.  I WILL NOT be dragged into ‘he said/she said/I’ve got screencaps’ levels of drama.  If you try, you WILL lose me as a partner.  No exceptions.

I’m okay with minor god-modding.  If you need my muse to follow yours somewhere or something along those lines, and you don’t see any reason why they wouldn’t, then it’s okay to do it.  Let’s save us both some additional writing time.  But for anything major or where you’re unsure what my muse would do, please talk to me first.  The same goes for meta-gaming. Unless your character has a real reason to know things about mine, please don’t do it.

In that same vein - please DO NOT try to circumvent my muse’s abilities by not telling me something that my muse SHOULD have noticed, and then having it come up in the RP.  If you’re not sure they’d notice, tell me in advance and we’ll figure out how to make things work best for both of us.  Thank you.

ABOUT MY WRITING

As far as grammar and spelling and punctuation and such - I fully respect those of you for whom English isn’t your first language.  I also respect those of you who have learning disabilities.  However - if I cannot understand your messages or your replies well enough to form a decent response, we’re not going to work out as writing partners.  I’m sorry; it’s not personal.

I generally prefer to do at least a little plotting beforehand, but starters and the like can still be sent, I don’t mind getting things started between our muses that way.

In regards to formatting of any kind (small font, icons, font embellishments, etc.) I’m okay to let you do you as long as you’re okay to let me do me.

I like for my roleplays to have an ending.  It doesn’t matter how long or how short the roleplay itself is, I just want it to have an obvious stopping point.  If our roleplays seem to constantly die rather than receive proper endings, I’m less likely to seek out future interactions.  It’s nothing against you, it’s just how I prefer my roleplaying experience to be.  We can still be friends and support each other within the community, we just won’t make good writing partners.

I tend to write A LOT.  I like to explore my character’s thoughts, and I like to explore back stories, and I like to offer up scene details.  The length of my reply will never require a reply of similar length from you.  As long as I have a way to reply, I’m not going to get upset if I write you 6 paragraphs, and you only reply with 2.

That being said, if you prefer one-liner RPs, we’re probably not going to mesh well as partners.  I just can’t do them, and I don’t want to force you to do something longer just to RP with me.

ABOUT SHIPS, ROMANCE, and NSFW

Chemistry.  Not just between the characters, but between the writers, too.  It NEEDS to be there.

I am well over the age of 18 - as is my muse - so smut could happen.  It’ll always be tagged NSFW.  If I miss something, tell me and I’ll fix it.

More about smut - if you’re not 18 or older, it’s not going to happen.  Not even ‘Fade-to-Black’ scenes.  No exceptions.  Please don’t misrepresent yourself to me in order to write smut.

Other NSFW topics - I’m okay with almost anything with the right plotting.  Please DON’T just throw it at me!  Ask and we’ll talk.  Also, please don’t think I will throw anything at you, either.  I won’t.  I take dark subjects seriously and believe things should always be discussed first.  However, this muse DOES have a dark back story, and it is entirely possible that things might get referenced within hi s own thoughts, so please be aware.

I don’t have triggers and I don’t tag them with CW or TW or any of that.  Everything I consider ‘questionable content’ is generally lumped under the NSFW tag.  Usually, if I’m posting about spiders or clowns or gore or whatever, I will tag it that way.  So, as long as you have the main words flagged or blacklisted or whatever, we should be good.  If we’re writing together and there is something you REALLY have an issue with and it’s slipping through your filters for some reason, come talk to me and we can try to work something out.

I did one of these on my old blog and I’m bringing it back but revamping it a bit. This is to all my mutuals! Mainly this is what is in my rules but I thought I’d post it as well as a reminder and to clarify certain things. This did get pretty long so I placed it under the cut. First of all, if I follow you I want to RP with you.

If you want to drop something, whether it be a thread, a ship, an interaction, anything all, that’s perfectly fine no matter the reasoning. You’re not feeling that thread anymore? Alright, let’s do something else. You’re not feeling this ship anymore? Sure, I’m alright with that! These two muses just aren’t working out in their interaction? Got it! Let’s try something else! I’m perfectly fine with all of it!

My inbox is always open. Send that meme. Say hello. Ask any question that you have! Seriously, I won’t mind!

If I post a starter call, inbox call, or plotting call, do not be afraid to like it if that is what you want to do. Same thing for if I post an open RP’s for my muses, just jump right in if you want.

I love AU’s, I truly do. And they can vary from small little changes to the normal verse to my characters becoming something completely different. Either way, I’m up for it so come at me if you have an idea.

I’m a little shit when it comes to replies, seriously I am. Sometimes I can spew out reply after reply within minutes of each other, and sometimes I will go days without a single one. It’s called life. Sometimes I’m not feeling good, or my mood is too sour. Maybe I’m struggling to come up with a reply I find suitable and really want to take my time and make sure it’s right. Maybe my muse isn’t cooperating with me. There are so many reasons, it’s ridiculous and if you’re worried that I no longer want to reply, just ask. I won’t bite, I promise.

I do not mind having multiple threads with the same mun. Whether that be your muses RP’s with several of mine, several of mine RP with multiple of yours or even if you have more than one blog but want to RP with me on each one. I’m down for that.

I’m a huge lover of shipping. Seriously I am. Ship with me you cowards! But, there does have to be some chemistry between the muses, I have to be able to see that they can go down that path together. If I ship something, that doesn’t mean you have to and if you ship something doesn’t mean I will either. Don’t force anything on me but do tell me if you ship our muses. I probably do too. Plus, there isn’t just romantic ships! Platonic, familial, frienemies, all that good stuff. I love all of that and so much more!

I can do pre-established relationships (not romantically at all though (usually)) but we as muns have to discuss it first to see if the muses can even be on such terms with one another.

I am open to pretty much every kind of plot you can think of. Seriously, I am! So don’t be afraid to approach me on that either if you want a specific genre.

You are allowed to turn asks into threads, just please repost it and if you can’t, tell me and I can do it for you.

Let your muse, be your muse. Don’t change them simply to suit the RP. If your muse is a jerk but you feel sorry for mine because they are sweet, don’t make them nicer so that you don’t feel guilty. If your muse is flirty, but mine isn’t having it, oh well. That’s how they are and my muse is more than capable of handling themselves.

I do not care if you take forever on your reply, I really don’t. As I already said, I’m bad with that myself. So don’t stress it, take your time!

You are NOT just a number in my follower count, I promise you that. So, if we’re mutuals, even if it takes me forever, eventually I will reach out to you. Most likely with a meme. However, I will say this much, I generally give a limit of three asks to start an interaction. This means I the first two icebreaker memes I send in that aren’t answered will be given the benefit of the doubt by thinking maybe you didn’t get them or the ask didn’t work or maybe the muse wasn’t good. Each one I send will likely contain a different muse and scenario to give you options. But after three asks are sent to try and break the ice between us and none are answered, I will assume you don’t have an interest in rping with me and will soft block because I don’t see a point in us being mutuals if you’re not interested in rping.

There will be times when I drop threads, there will be times that I don’t answer an ask you sent in, and times that I’m really not good at talking to others ooc. This is nothing against you. Generally, I really only don’t answer asks that just won’t work with anyone (rarely, is what I am saying). If I do these, we can always start a new thread, you can always send another ask which I will be more than likely to answer and if I don’t respond via chat or discord, just give me some time. I’m probably simply not up to it yet but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to talk with you.

Feel free to specify a muse if there really is one you’re interested in, I swear you won’t upset me because you like this particular muse. If anything, that makes it much easier for me. But, if you’re not sure who to use, let me know and I’ll try to help you.

My page is hella disorganized but I’m chipping away at that bit by bit (ignore the fact that I’ve had this particular blog for eight months now and I’m still trying to get it together)

I do not care about that whole thing that’s going around about reblogging from the source, I truly don’t and it’s even in my rules that the likelihood of me actually doing that isn’t high.

I am private. I am selective. And I most certainly am mutuals only. If I haven’t followed you back yet, please do not jump into my IM’s asking about doing things. That will make me either want to block you or not even give your page a chance. If I don’t follow you back for whatever reason, it’s nothing against you, really. Could be a great deal many reasons as to why.

I am multiship (for the most part because some muses are selective few ship, it says it in their information if they are) but certain muses have their main verse and then they also have their canon verse which is not the same. If for any reason, you wish to be involved in their canon verse, it would have to be thoroughly discussed between us and then I’d have to discuss it with another mun who is involved with the canon verse muses.

I have a very broad range of muses from the most innocent and sweets ones to the worst of the worst. They also range from completely normal humans to vampires, lycanthropes and much much more. But having muses like this means there will likely be a lot of triggering content. I will try to tag it but if I’m being honest, I suck at it.

Will contain NSFW content as well (though certain parts of that NSFW I’m very picky about). Smut is something that will likely take place on here eventually, though not very often. I just generally prefer to do morning afters and all that good stuff.

I do crack/shit post, I do a have quite a bit of ooc posts, I do dash commentary at times too.

If you send your male muse at me, it will likely be responded with by a female muse. This is NOT for shipping purposes. This is because I’ve had a bad experience before where even though my muse was a heterosexual male and the one he was threading with was considered bisexual, they began to try and force a ship between them. Not only was the muse itself being extremely pushy but the mun was as well ooc. This also doesn’t mean that I won’t do it at all, if I know the mun isn’t like that or something along those lines then I will be okay with actually doing it.

You can bet your ass I play favorites. This means that there are certain threads I’m likely to respond to first, there are certain asks I will do quicker than others. Usually, this is because me and the other mun have that solid connection ooc and that the muses just really go well together. But don’t let that discourage you, please. That doesn’t mean I won’t rp with you, that doesn’t mean I’ll ignore you and that certainly doesn’t mean that with time you can’t become one as well.

I use icons, but that doesn’t mean that you have to. Yes, I also edit my text but that doesn’t mean you have to either in order to rp with me.

My biggest peeve is not cutting your posts. I really hate having to scroll so much just to get past one post. If you don’t cut your posts, I won’t follow or if I already do then I will unfollow once it becomes an issue.

When I unfollow, I do it through soft block because, as I’ve said, you are not just a number in my follower count and I think it’s only fair. So, if I unfollow you and didn’t use this method, that means I personally didn’t unfollow you. It must have been a glitch on tumblr or something and you’re welcome to say something to me.

I generally rp at any length but the longer the reply is the longer it takes for me to do it so I usually try to keep it at 2-3 paragraphs.

I do currently have 39 muses and more are going to come. That’s just how I am. The world in which my muses are in has a lot of possibilities and connections that I like to explore and develop more and as I do, muses come out and sometimes it will be just one and others it can be multiple. Really depends but if you don’t like blogs with too many muses that I wouldn’t follow me.

I absolutely detest one-liners and as such won’t follow people who love them, as we would not match. Short answers are absolutely fine for asks and memes but for threads and plots, I’m afraid I am not fond of them - that being said, it’s not that big a no-no if one paragraph contains enough information for me to use.

The only formatting I do to my text is using bold and italics when adequate. You are free to change it to small text for your blog but please do not cut my posts for me without prior discussion - it’s rude. On this topic, I don’t mind if you format your posts or not provided you use capitals as adequate AND provided your formatting is not too heavy - I am sorry but some people format their text to the point it’s impossible to read. I can’t explain this topic very well but the idea is that, for us to ship our characters, they must have a dynamic that can be used as a base and we should either plot it or be in tune. Sometimes people just go *squeal* over a pairing at the same time! I would not object to plotting a ship from a time the characters are not that fond of each other, but that would require the same feeling of companionship between the two of us as writers as other ships do. 

When I ship with someone, it applies only to their interpretation of that character and not with another. I see no sense in doing it differently! In fact, if we get to that stage, I would rather be exclusives with you and rp only with your portrayal of the character in question in the sense of developing this dynamic over different situations, verses, etc.

OOC posts are a fine thing, for behind every blog there is not a machine programmed to answer things all day long, but bloggers of flesh and bone. I can never have anything against status updates on your life - in rp-related things, in things that make you happy and want to share, things that are saddening you and you could use a friendly shoulder for. However, I won’t follow people who, in 10 posts, have 8 or 9 as OOC - the way I see it, that makes it a personal blog instead of rp and I like to keep these contents separated in my respective blogs.
